The purpose of this study aims to assess the undergraduate seniors' keyboard competency through the use of portfolio assessment in an undergraduate education program of the University in Macau. One of the goals for doing this study is to help the seniors understand their or their peers' keyboard progress in the Group Piano Class and to become competent music teachers through developing and using portfolios. Participants are able to comprehend the different aspects of piano performing and accompanying. The revevant studies should be encouraged by all level music teachers. |
