Abstract | This paper proposes an event-triggered fuzzy assistance steering torque controller for vehicle path tracking considering driver's dynamic style. Firstly, to describe the inter-individual differences and time-variation of driver's style, a driver's dynamic style model is established. Secondly, an interval type-2 fuzzy model of the overall driver-vehicle-road system is established considering the uncertainties of the overall system. Thirdly, in order to improve the adaptability of the control system to the driver's dynamic style, a driving authority allocation mechanism is proposed by taking into account the driver's style and the real-time driving state. Moreover, considering the control technologies depend on the efficiency of data transfer, an event-triggered shared control method is proposed, and a set of sufficient conditions are given for the calculation of the proposed controller expressed as linear matrix inequalities. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by various simulations. |
