論生命教育與儒家成德之教的關係

Abstract儒家的道統精神,孔子從 仁 開展,孟子由心性進入,強調由自己本心之返求、逆覺體證而得之,荀子則由認知心為進路,由智成德的新路,強調以外在的禮義法度來治性,從師而學始得成德。他們強調藉由外鑠之力,即是教育之功,為成德之必要條件。生命教育從天、人、物、我的面向來探討生命的全人教育。筆者認為這兩者觀點有著殊途同歸的旨趣。故本文試以儒家的生命態度與生命教育的內涵從理論面進行梳理與對比,並在實踐面以筆者實踐的成果分享幼兒經典教材及幼兒生命教育教材,在幼兒階段實證的果效,以此甫證幼兒時期開展品格教育與道德教育的重要性。
