Abstract | Macau is facing the issue of declining birthrate, but the registration rate of Macau’s higher education institutions has increased every year in the past five years. How do universities in Macau respond to the declining birthrate and expand their student pool? How is it done? This article takes the University of Macau, the largest public university in Macau, as an example to introduce and analyze the University of Macau’s approach to expanding its student base, as a reference for universities in Taiwan. |
