| Abstract | This paper presented the role of Sci-Tech consultation in the product development cycle. Besides proposing the architecture of patent consultation, its interaction with project initialization and product design was emphasized. The paper also discussed the methodology of further processing of the raw consultation result to enable the competitive benchmarking analysis. Finally, two industrial examples were illustrated which demonstrated the applications of the proposed method. |
