Abstract | A total of thirty-six PM10 pollution episodes with daily mean concentrations exceeding 150ug/m3 occurred in Macau during the year of 2002 to 2005. It also shows an annual worsening tendency. Knowing that there exists a close relation between northerly wind and high PM10 concentration in Macau, analyses were made with respect to general meteorological and synoptic conditions and PM10 hourly concentration in this study, so that the different synoptic systems that form the observed northerly winds could be understood…… |
