Abstract | A novel poly-L-arginine group microcapsule was produced by a high-voltage electrostatic droplet generator. It was found that the membrane strength was affected significantly by the concentration of sodium alginate, membrane-forming time and molecular weight of poly-L-arginine. When sodium alginate concentration was 1.0%, membrane-forming time was higher than 15min, molecular weight of poly-L-arginine was 55,300 and 141,000μ, the most strongest membrane was obtained. At the same time, the principle of the polyelectrolytic complexation reaction was investigated. Results showed that we could control the membrane strength according to change the experimental conditions, and it would benefit the further study of drug controlled release. Thereby, poly-L-arginine can be used as a kind of new membrane material in microcapsule, and it is expected to obtain an intervening therapeutic and biodegradable drug carrier. |
