In this application are described high affinity anti-GD2 antibody agents, and various methods and reagents related thereto, including for example for the detection, prevention, and/or therapeutical treatment of GD2-related diseases, in particular, neuroblastoma. The present invention provides antibody agents that bind to GD2 and are variants of a reference 3F8 antibody in that they contain one or more particular structural features that are not found in the reference 3F8 antibody and are described herein. In some embodiments, provided antibody agents are useful in medicine, for example in the diagnosis and/or treatment of neuroblastoma.
