Abstract | Previous studies on trust have focused mainly on trustors’ perceptions. In this chapter, we extend that research to explore trustees’ perceptions. Adopting a multilevel approach, we present a comprehensive theoretical model that captures the development and impact of individual and team felt trust by supervisor. In addition, we draw on the social identity perspective to theorize the bottom-up and top-down processes linking individual and team felt trust. |
