Abstract	We characterize in terms of Fourier spectrum the boundary values of functions in the complex Hardy spaces Hp(ℂ±), 1 ≤ p ≤∞. As an application we extend the Bedrosian identity, originally stated for square-integrable functions, to the Lp (ℝ)cases.
