Abstract	《文心雕龙》全书义脉纵贯,"枢纽"五篇是文理的基础,而"上篇"二十篇之论文体,与"下篇"之论文术,体用相依,而总归撰作的用心。此心为总持文体的关键。故论《文心雕龙》文体之说,必须根本其意义脉络,则其中的"常理"便显然可见。刘勰寻绎文章之体的常理,是为立言事业建立"极",即树立以崇高的标准。刘勰的用心,成功地实现于"上篇"文体观念的建构之中,《宗经》"六义"涵盖所有文体的理想境域,以"雅丽"为整套文体观念的灵魂,心为根本所在。本文通观《文心雕龙》文体论,从而显照其一以贯之的文体"常理"。
