| Abstract | 曹元弼先生近世鸿儒,博通经传,《诗》《礼》传家,而天性纯笃,孝弟力行,经师人师,足为后世士人矜式。其经义礼教,一出悲天悯人,爱人之德,表为学说,乃至经纶人道,所谓为往世继绝学,为万世开太平者,洵之谓也。其主持两湖书院,讲经授业,必承师法,实事求是,所编《经学文钞》十七卷,虽成书于颠沛流离之际,天下多事之秋,而精心编撰,体例完整,系统分明,无异经学总集,乃经义之学之巨薮,可谓不凡。其中论《礼》者凡三卷,总归会通,起敬起孝,礼之为教,本出天衷。此中华经学与礼教之精义,具见此钞。故虽见弃百年,苟圣人横空而出,必能再显此钞之辉煌者也。自今以后,修齐治平者,必有所取焉。 |
