AbstractBuilding urban Energy Internet, promoting renewable energy near-transaction and realizing user demand response are the key ways to solve the reliable energy supply issues of urban area, which can promote energy utilization efficiency in urban areas, improve distributed renewable energy consumption capacity and change energy consumption structure. In this paper, the market structure and user characteristics of the urban Energy Internet are proposed based on the concept and attributes of urban Energy Internet. According to the topological structure of energy trading, some energy trading modes and derivative trading modes of the urban Energy Internet are discussed. Subsequently, the traditional response and market-based response strategy are compared and analyzed, showing the superiority of the latter one. This paper also discusses some new situations in user demand response of the urban Energy Internet development. Finally, this paper summarizes the key technologies of energy trading mode and user demand response strategy in urban Energy Internet as well as their future development trends.
