| Abstract | 辜鸿铭最看重文学中的道德内涵,他有关文学的一些精辟之论常常为道德本体的文学观所遮蔽、冲淡,甚至改造。辜鸿铭发出"惟诗贵有理趣,而忌作理语耳"的议论;提出适合于各民族文学研究者对于异族文学进行高层次研究的文学"整体研究观";极力捍卫中国传统文学及文言文的地位。但是,他的道德人文观念已经渗透到他所涉及的各个话题中,其文学批评已经很难回归到文学轨道。从辜鸿铭对社会批评和文明批评所展示的知识结构和文化背景而言,他是一个当然的文学家;但从文学观念方面说,他更多地体现出一个道德家和社会工作者的本色。 |
