Abstract

The third generation mobile communication is one of the most powerful communication technologies nowadays. And it would become even more critical after the release of Chinese 3G licenses. The 3G communication technology, however, is also confronting its promotion bottleneck, and consumers’ using intention is the key to the development of it. By using diffusion of innovation theory, this study aims to examine the factors influencing user’s adopting intention toward 3G communication. Result shows only “technology cluster” is significantly related to adoption intention among four variables examined in this study.
