Abstract | This contribution describes an efficient approach to constructing chiral spiro[pyrrol-benzopyran] (SPP) scaffold with high asymmetry. By combining chiral SPP and the achiral sensing moiety phenothiazine, the target probe P showed unprecedented reaction-based chiroptical sensing towards hypochlorite with switching CD signals. |
