Abstract | We report emission spectra of ultra-small single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNs) extracted by dissolving AFI zeolite crystals. By two-dimensional mapping of the emission intensity, SWCNs are resolved clearly in clusters distributed on a mica plate. The intensity of background emission is reduced comparing with that of emission of AFI crystals containing SWCNs (AFI-SWCNs). It is newly found that the background emission is composed of two elements: Raman scattering of broad spectra and luminescence. |
