| Abstract | An approach to build a corpus-based machine translation (CBMT) system which employs a statistical approach with automatic bilingual alignment support was discussed. An improved algorithm for aligning bilingual parallel texts which can achieve 97% of accuracy was presented. The use of pure phrase substitution was also studied. The approach also supported the automatic sentence alignment and made use of both MAHT and FAMT. |
