AbstractRadio-frequency (RF) rectifiers are key blocks in an energy harvesting system that harvests the energy from EM radiation. There are multiple design challenges in RF rectifiers. This paper briefs the background and motivation, and reviews three design examples to address the challenges, on how to extend the input power range with high efficiency, to extend the incident angle of the input energy with high efficiency, and to reduce the power loss of an integrated rectifier.
