Abstract

In this paper, a novel compact dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter with meander open-loop arms is proposed. Based on this design, a 1.1% fractional bandwidth dual-mode bandpass filter centered @2.13 GHz is designed and demonstrated with the good agreement between the simulated and measured results. This filter exhibits significant dimension reduction and narrow passband compared with that of the conventional dual-mode bandpass filter.
