Recent years have seen an increasing interest in researching the Englishes of Southeast Asia (SEA), especially from the world Englishes perspective. In addition to research articles in journals—especially within four journals devoted to the world Englishes perspective, which emphasizes the pluricentricity of English—there has been tremendous growth in the number handbooks and scholarly monographs published on the topic. This chapter compiles a bibliography of scholarly monographs that might be used to research Southeast Asian Englishes from a variety of perspectives, including educational, historical, sociolinguistic, and macro-sociolinguistic. Volumes related to the region as well as individual SEA nations are included.
