Abstract | We investigate the topics and sentiment concerning COVID-19 from half-a-million tweets across different countries between January 22 and April 30, 2020, finding similarities and differences between the general concerns and feelings between countries, and varying attitudes towards different issues. Strong sentiments are found in the tweets, yet love and support also gain much popularity. In general, a trend of increasingly positive sentiment was observed. |
