Abstract | Highlighting the important role of marketing in encouraging green marketing and related research, this study presents a review of the academic literature from an overview that examines its necessary and continuance. In the process of the analysis, this study develops a comprehensive framework for figuring out current research stage and further research directions. This study deploys a bibliometric analysis of academic articles collected from the WoS database from January 1991 to October 2021 (all years in the WoS), and performance citation analysis, co-citation analysis, and burst citations analysis. It proposes some further research directions by providing provoking conclusions. |
