Travessias, Contos migratórios [Migratory Tales], Viseu, Ediçoes Esgotadas, 2014 ISBN: 978-989-8801-07-4Nº of pages.: 134Abstract: Theses “migratory tales” begin with narratives, characters and experiences set in Uruguay, as in the case of Mariana, “the dream hunter”, who pursues her dream of being a singer and ends up risking her life for it; “Sagittarius”, anxious for a day of glory; Dolores who, at the heart of her “kingdom of memories”, tries to rethink a new tomorrow or even the journey heading for the Eldorado the young musician yearns for. In the second part are other “journeys” – with the places travelled through also being diverse ranging from the Algarve hills to Macau, passing through Barcelona and many other places. These deal with solving the mysteries that cast a shadow over a family’s past (“A chave das memórias”), the fight against illness (“Recomeçar”), against drug addiction (“Delírio”), old age or simply against the injustices that are rampant in society (“Átropos”).link: https://www.amazon.com/Travessias-Migrat%C3%83%C2%B3rios-DORA-NUNES-GAGO/dp/9898801077/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1507821152&sr=8-2&keywords=Gago%2C+Dora[Reviewed by Sousa.
