| Abstract | This book-length research report is compile as a final report upon the completion of a project funded by National Social Science Foundation, China [15BYY087]. It includes 7 chapters, starting with the sketch of the research background and rationale, its value in the context of English education in Chinese universities, and the particular research objectives for the project. It then summarizes in Chapter 2 the research results, output, and the publication outlets. The next 5 chapters presents a collection of the research papers published or under review that came out of this project. A final Chapter 7 summarizes the value and limitations in the present research, and outlines future areas of research centered around this topic. |
