| Abstract | 本文析述香港商人創辦孔聖堂在二十世紀初為主線，分析香港愛國商人為青年子弟提供中文教育的成就和貢獻。到了戰後，許讓成會長推動中文中學的正規教育，加強孔聖堂在推廣學術的努力。簡言之，二十世紀香港中文教育得以持續發展，與孔聖堂的工作有密切關係。 |
