Abstract | This article argues that Ezra Pound's experience of editing The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot contributed enormously to his own writing of Eighth Canto, in ways previously unacknowledged. The argument is proven through examination of elements of the manuscript drafts of the Waste Land and Pounds own initial typescripts for the canto. |
