Presentation of Paul Celan's book of poems Atemwende, translated into Portuguese by Guilherme Gontijo Flores as Ar-reverso. The first of 6 cicles of poems of this book, named Atemkristall, was first translated in Brazil by Raquel Abi-Samara in 2005 under the title " Hausto-Cristal", as part of Hans-Georg Gadamer's book Wer bin ich und wer bist Du (Who am I and who are you. Commentaries on Paul Celan's cicle of poems Atemkristall), translated by Abi-Samara and published by the university publishing house of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - EdUERJ. This chapter explores the aspect of Atemwende as a testimonial literature, which follows the Jewish commandment: Zakhor! (Let us not forget!)
