Abstract | The last few decades have witnessed an unprecedented growth of ancient texts excavated from archaeological sites in mainland China. This chapter will briefly introduce the excavated texts that can shed light on the economic history of early imperial China. Our discussion is selective and focuses on the genres of legal, administrative, and economic texts. |
