Abstract

A tube reactor autoclave equipped with pH meter with a temperature gradient for considering the flow system in multi cracks of hot dry or wet rock has been developed. The results using this simulation test showed a maximum dissolution regions at the temperature between 250-320°C and the deposition regions above 330°C. The dramatic change from dissolution to deposition occurred at 330°C. These results were supported by the apparent solubility of granite and silica. The dissolution-deposition under the flow system was mainly proceeded by alteration of feldspar around 200°C, and quartz above 300°C. The deposition mineral was low quatz at the place above 330°C with flow direction from low to high temperature, however, cristobaite from high to low temperature. The alteration of feldspar in granite is easily occurred around at 200°C to form zeolite and clay minerals. Mica in granite is most stable mineral and the alteration could not be observed besides deposit minerals on the surface.
