| Abstract | “桐城派”在地理与学理层面葆有“小桐城”与“大桐城”属性。“小桐城”的诸多望姓大族从宋元时期的学术高地江西、徽州迁徙而来，携来理学与辞章学的深厚艺术传统，构成学理上的“大桐城”，此为南北学派“不同论”并列而存的、呈东西向的学术反哺典型案例。桐城派在文统上主张承续“韩、欧之间”，并一以贯之，而道统上疏请“从祀”方苞失败后，曾国藩以家塾名义重构包含姚鼐的道统从祀名录。桐城派文统与道统的树立，其先在于“专”“精”，有所遵循，此之谓“小桐城”；其次在于“会通”“闳通”，有所广纳，此之谓“大桐城”；最后在于追祖溯源，与古圣之道接续，由学理上的多元之“大”到地理上一邑之“小”，再到统绪上的会通之“大”。 |
